Fast growing and attractive medicinal plant. Flowers readily in warm climates and produces fruits/seeds in abundance.

Make hybrids: This species is great for creating hybrids with any other Psychotria species.

Excellent root stock: Can be used as root stock for Psychotria viridis and other cultivars, turning them in to resilient fast growing plants with better cold tolerance.

Planting:

Plant in a shady spot, with filtered and/or morning sun. Likes moist soil. Can be fertilised through spring/summer.
